ILC holds training-workshops for senior UPLB faculty members

The Interactive Learning Center (ILC), with the support of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA), conducts training-workshops on Development/Application of Interactive Learning Materials for senior faculty members on March 13, 20 & 27, 2017. The training-workshops are being held at the ILC Computer Laboratory I , 3rd flr, CAS Annex 1 Building.

Training-workshops are regularly conducted to further mainstream interactive learning in the University and to develop the skills and capabilities of UPLB faculty members, both junior and senior on the application of different learning management systems (LMS), alternative tools for teaching and learning, and latest e-learning practices.

For this set of training workshops, the resource persons and their topics are the following: Prof. Nelio C. Altoveros on Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (MOODLE) on March 13, Prof. Analinda M. Fajardo on Edmodo Social Learning Platform and Prof. Lynette C. Serrano on Alternative Tools for Teaching and Learning on March 20, and Prof. Aldo T. Lim on Learning Object Development/Packaging on March 27.

Completion of a relevant ILC training-workshop on the development/ application of interactive learning materials is one of the prerequisites to qualify for grants for the development of interactive instructional materials. (BRPabro).
